Miramar, FL (September 10, 2021)Barbara Sharief for Congress continues to build momentum, today announcing the endorsement of Elect Democratic Women.

“I am honored to have the support of Elect Democratic Women. Their fight for equal representation in Washington, D.C. is more important now than ever, because Congress cannot and will not address the issues facing women unless we achieve more equal representation in the House. As we get closer to the primary on November 2nd, where I will face 8 male candidates, I am heartened to have support from other women who have preceded me and continue to fight for greater women’s representation in Congress,” said Barbara Sharief.

“Elect Democratic Women is proud to endorse Barbara Sharief for Congress. Barbara is a strong and passionate leader who as a Broward County Commissioner, health care professional, and business owner has the experience we need to help get us through the Covid-19 pandemic, protect women’s health, and build our economy back better,” said Bettina Weiss, Executive Director for Elect Democratic Women.
